Notícias U. Porto · 29 Nov 2021
The 2021 edition of the prestigious "Business School Ranking" places the two Business Schools of the University of Porto in a restricted group of business schools distinguished with "4 Palmes of Excellence".

The School of Economics and Management of the University of Porto (FEP) and Porto Business School were classified with "4 Palmes of Excellence" in the latest edition of the prestigious Business School Ranking, an initiative of Eduniversal agency that annually recognizes the 1000 best business schools worldwide.

The two University of Porto schools join the restricted group of 200 business schools from around the world that stand out for their relevant international influence.

Notoriety criteria were considered for this award, such as international accreditations, positioning in international rankings, as well as affiliations and partnerships.

It should be recalled that it was in 2019 that FEP and Porto Business School were recognized for the first time with 4 Palmes of Excellence, in recognition of the upward path that the two institutions have been following in terms of their reputation and influence in the national and international contexts.

Altogether, the Business School Ranking 2021 includes 1,000 business schools from 154 countries, distributed across five categories. The University of Porto stands out in second place among the nine Portuguese higher education institutions highlighted by Eduniversal, being only surpassed by Universidade Nova de Lisboa - Nova School of Business and Economics.
