Framed within the closeness policy of the AICEP with
the national companies, the action aimed to support exports and strengthen the
internationalization of the Portuguese economy, particularly at the level of
small and medium sized enterprises.
The Mayor of Porto highlighted the strategy of his
Cabinet in the context of boosting the economy, one of the pillars of his
electoral program. "This strategy includes the internationalization of the
city, the affirmation of its brand, the promotion of what is best done in the
city by its agents, and attracting investment," he said in his speech.
