-Mindera Code Academy: our wish is to help people who want to embrace a life change and begin a career in software development. Our courses allow people to find new opportunities in the job market and quickly see results from the investment they’ve made. We also build co-authored code academies with our existing clients and the focus is ‘women in tech’ etc….
-Mindera Summer Camp: we have set our heart on providing disadvantaged and institutionalised kids holidays with tech and nature activities.

We’ve cherished a dream for many years: to help people achieve their potential by teaching them the skills we’ve learnt. Mindera School was born to make that dream a reality. By sharing our knowledge of the thing we know best and love the most - software development - we can keep contributing to the tech community and upskill the next generation of talented techies.
We started this journey with Mindera School in 2018. Our purpose is to teach programming and prepare young people to start working as soon as they finish the course. We give special priority to students who for some reason would not have the opportunity to continue investing in their training path. We give them the opportunity to continue studying and at the same time start contributing to the family budget, as we give all students a monthly scholarship in an amount of 1.4*IAS (social support indexing). Mindera School is a geek to geek program: all lessons are delivered by our developers who give their time, energy and love to this project.
We have a 10 months course based on projects where the program is agile and interactive, it is adjusted to each class and student, considering their characteristics (expectations, knowledge, needs, learning style and progress). The first 8 months are in classroom context and the last 2 are spent shadowing Mindera’s developing teams. 90% of the program is dedicated to programming and software development and the other 10% is dedicated to the development of soft-skills such as: self-knowledge, communication, teamwork, time-management,…). We encourage in our students a positive attitude, critical thinking, autonomy, communication, and confidence that we believe to be the basis for all personal and professional relationships. The goal is to give students the resources they need to deal with everyday challenges.
And as with everything, at Mindera, in an organic way we evolved to a different answer with MINDERA CODE ACADEMY in 2020. In this project our wish is to help people who want to embrace a life change and begin a career in software development. Our courses allow people to find new opportunities in the job market and quickly see results from the investment they’ve made.
The two projects have the same basic program that runs at different paces, respecting the purpose and specificities of the generations they are intended for.
