6th meeting of the Local Action Group for the Project In Focus

On November 21st 2017, the 6th meeting of the Local Action Group for the Project In Focus took place in the i3S – Institute for Research and Innovation in Health building, within the URBACT III Programme.
The Porto Municipality, through InvestPorto, is one of the partners of the Project In Focus - Smart Specialisation at City Level, which has the goal to improve competitiveness in the cities and their ability to create employment, by means of a new positioning in the economic setting, according to the smart specialisation strategies created at a regional level.
The meeting, where 33 representatives of 21 entities took part, focused on the development of the Asprela Campus. In this context, speakers were invited, such as, Luís Carvalho, consultant for the Porto Innovation District, and Carlos Oliveira, Community Manager of the Communication Forum of Asprela.
