7th meeting of the Local Action Group for the Project In Focus

On December 14th 2017, the 7th meeting of the Local Action Group for the Project In Focus took place in the Mira Forum building, within the URBACT III Programme.
The Porto Municipality, through InvestPorto, is one of the partners of the Project In Focus - Smart Specialisation at City Level, which has the goal to improve competitiveness in the cities and their ability to create employment, by means of a new positioning in the economic setting, according to the smart specialisation strategies created at a regional level.
The meeting, where 23 representatives of 10 entities took part, focused on the development of the Urban Rehabilitation Area of Campanhã and the Old Slaughterhouse. In this context, speakers were invited, such as Isabel Santos, Head of the Municipal Department for the Urban Planning of the Porto City Council and Cátia Meirinhos, Executive Director of Management and Works of Porto, Municipal Company.
