Alfândega hosted the 16th edition of Speed Recruitment
The 16th edition of Speed Recruitment took place at Alfândega, counting with 392 registrations. The recruitment and networking initiative, promoted by Porto, through TERA, aimed to bring together national reference companies and candidates looking for (new) professional opportunities.
As well as having direct contact with the companies attending, the jobseekers also had the opportunity to take part in workshops about things which are highly valued by the job market.
There were two different types of participation in Speed
Recruitment. In the five-minute "interview circuit", 10 companies
had the opportunity to interview 60 candidates, previously selected and trained
by the local authority team, for five minutes. The ten companies present were
Forvia, Grupo Salvador Caetano, InterContinental Porto-Palácio das Cardosas,
Job Impulse Portugal, Kelly Services, MC Sonae, Mecwide, Prozis, Sodexo
Business-Matosinhos and Synergie.
The "open access circuit" adopts a traditional job fair format, where 60 companies are present to showcase their job opportunities, receive applications and interview candidates.
Simultaneously with the two circuits, the Workshop Space was in session. This space was designed for companies to conduct brief (20-minute) workshops, providing job seekers with insights into the current job market, the significance of a well-structured CV, and the most valued skills, among other dimensions crucial for professional success. These informative sessions unfolded throughout the day, at the same time as the job fair.
