Technology company is reinforcing its policy of "pet friendly" company. It is also reinforcing its team, it has more than 40 vacancies.
Cocus has taken another step in its pet friendly company policy. Not only can the 150 employees take their four-legged companions to the office every day, but the Matosinhos-based technology company is offering employees the possibility to subscribe, "at no extra cost", to a pet protection insurance. The company is also recruiting. It has more than 40 vacancies.
"It is widely recognised that animals make people happier and healthier, consequently more productive, so as pet lovers, Cocus knows that offering the freedom to work remotely in the company of four-legged friends, while allowing them to accompany their employees to the office whenever they wish, is the ideal situation," justifies the company in a statement.
This new benefit joins other policies promoting a balance between work and family life, such as the Flex Office policy, which allows all employees to work from anywhere in Portugal. The Portuguese technology company also offers, "at least 25 holidays with the possibility of reaching up to 30 days of holidays per year, depending on seniority in the company".
"For Cocus it is important to think about the health of its people in a holistic way. These include health insurance for employees and their families, the Employee Assistance Program, which aims to provide support in different areas of life for employees and their families, including psychological, psychosocial, financial, legal and nutritional support, as well as a confidential helpline available 24 hours a day.
The technology has also been advancing with solutions that "allow monthly savings and also in the medium/long term." How? "Through the use of products that allow tax reduction, such as Tickets, retirement savings plans and capitalization life insurance," clarifies official source of the company to ECO People.
