Critical Software opens summer internship programme for university students

Critical Software opens summer internship programme for university students
18 May 2022
Summer Camp is back again this year to give university students the opportunity to have their first contact with the world of work. The internship programme at Critical Software, a company specialising in software solutions and engineering services for the support of critical systems, begins on the 11th of July and enrolments are open until the 31st of May here.

The company bets on this internship format to promote the company's innovation projects in the engineering areas. Summer Camp will be divided in two moments - the Innovation Experience and the Summer Internship. The Innovation Experience will take place from July 11th to the 15th, a week in which the interns are together with engineers at the headquarters in Coimbra developing prototypes through robotics, Internet of Things and artificial intelligence. Critical Software covers all the expenses associated to this week.

The Summer Internship, which runs from July 18th to August 12th, consists of four weeks where the candidates will be able to have their first work experience and learn about the company's culture and several projects. This year the working model will be hybrid, with visits to the office two to three days a week.

"At Critical Software, we believe that learning is continuous and can happen at any age or career moment. In this programme, both students and employees share different perspectives, which makes this experience more enriching for the company. We are very happy to be able to continue contributing to the personal and curricular development of these students and to maintain our relationship with Portuguese universities", says Filipa Carmo, representative of the People Management Team at Critical Software.

The summer internship programme starts on July 11th and is aimed at engineering and technology students. Interested students may submit their application here.
