For the fourth consecutive year, the Hotel da Avenida da Boavista is nominated in the category of Best Conference Hotel in Portugal at the World Travel Awards. The winners of the 27th edition will be announced on September 28th.

Crowne Plaza Porto is once again on the exclusive list of the best hotels. The unit of the IHG group is nominated for the World Travel Awards, in the category of Best Conference Hotel in Portugal. The city of Antalaya, Turkey, will host the gala of the 27th edition of the awards ceremony on September 28th.

The appointment of the Hotel Crowne Plaza Porto proves, once again, the unique characteristics that the facilities offer for conferences, combining rooms with excellent conditions to a team of professionals who know how to receive and welcome visitors.

The General Manager of the hotel unit, Vincent Poulingue, says: "We adapted to the new post-pandemic reality and we implemented all the conditions of hygiene and safety to receive business meetings and conferences. At this time, we offer the possibility to host hybrid meetings, in partnership with the Service Pack. Our main objective is to make our visitors feel and are, in fact, safe”.

In addition to the standards mentioned above, the Hotel Crowne Plaza Porto was certified by Turismo de Portugal as a Clean & Safe establishment and adopted a strict cleaning, hygiene and safety protocol, called IHG Clean Promise, adopted globally by the InterContinental Hotels Group, in order to guarantee the safety of all visitors and employees. Recently, the Safe Travels seal was added to its list of certifications by the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC).
