Digital switchover leads ALTER SOLUTIONS to open job positions

ALTER SOLUTIONS Portugal, expertise and consulting group specialised in DevOps, Mobile development, Data Science, Business Intelligence, Project Management, Infrastructure and Quality Assurance is to hire more than 200 collaborators for its offices in Porto and in Lisbon during 2021. The goal is to strengthen support teams and increase operations capacity in the country.

In a time when the pandemic brought harsh consequences to the economy at global level, the consulting group was able to achieve positive tangible results, and saw a significant increase in consolidated revenue of circa 25%, with a turnover of 13 million euros. The company ended the year with 100 active clients, both national and international, in sectors as Banking, Insurance, Payment methods and Industry.

"2020 was a year of adapting methods to the new context in the market, always aligned with the strategic goals defined to the company. Looking back, we can say it was a very positive year to our activity, while highly challenging. We were able to attract new customers and start new very stimulating projects”, stated Bernardo Estriga, ALTER SOLUTIONS Portugal chief operating officer in a press release. He furthered that "the increasing digital switchover of companies that reaches across all sectors and the ongoing need for highly qualified people in IT give us confidence for the future. We believe that 2021 will be a crucial year to bring continuity to our projects and rapport with customers.”

The international market, namely Nearshore, remains one of the main bets to lead to the company growth, and it represents already more than 15% of its operations, which feature a client portfolio that includes Stellantis, SNCF – Société Nationale des Chemins de Fer, Decathlon and Volkswagen.

ALTER SOLUTIONS was established in France, in 2006 and settled offices in Portugal in 2015. Currently, it has more than 375 collaborators, in its offices in Porto and Lisbon.
