Django programmers from all over the world meet in Porto
More than five hundred programmers of Django technology gather for the first time in Porto, between 21 and 25 September. The DjangoCon Europe conference takes place at the Super Bock Arena - Pavilhão Rosa Mota and brings speakers from the four corners of the world and practitioners of web functionality of different levels.
After two editions, only in online format, DjangoCon Europe, organized by the technology company Ad Evolutio, will happen for the first time, in person, in Portugal, in what is the 14th edition since its foundation.
The conference, focused on the Django web framework, aims, says the organization in a statement, "to educate and develop new skills, best practices and ideas for the benefit of attendees, developers, speakers and everyone in our community".
Ad Evolution adds that the organization of DjangoCon Europe makes Portugal assume "a prominent role as a preferred destination for global events in technology and computing".
Since 2009, the conference has already passed through cities like Copenhagen, Berlin, Amsterdam, Florence, Budapest and Zurich.
