This amount corresponds to 286 transactions of property acquisition registered in the Downtown and Historical Center of the city, which represented an increase of 40% when compared to the 204 operations registered in the previous semester.

The urban rehabilitation areas in the city of Porto, namely the Downtown and Historical Center, registered investments of 86 million euros, which represented an increase of 14%, when compared to the previous semester, according to data disclosed by Confidencial Imobiliário this Thursday, November 25th.

This value corresponded to 286 property acquisition transactions registered in the Downtown and Historical Center of the city, equivalent to a 40% growth, when compared to the 204 operations registered in the previous semester, while at the same time investment also grew 40% in the number of properties and 20% in value.

These two urban rehabilitation areas recorded in the second half of 2020 a 38% share of the amount of investment accounted for in the nine urban rehabilitation areas, which has now evolved to 49%, similar to that observed at the end of 2019.

In total, the nine urban rehabilitation areas presented in the semester under analysis an investment of 175.3 million euros, corresponding to 680 transactions, which meant a drop of 12% in investment volume compared to the previous semester, while in the number of transactions it had an increase of 6%.

Concerning the first semester of the previous year, the investment increased 5% in amount and 15% in the number of transactions.
