The digital payments fintech is expanding its business and wants to invest in hiring in the areas of Technical/Customer Support, Marketing, Compliance, Sales and Development.

Eupago, a Portuguese fintech in the area of digital payments, wants to hire 50 more employees until 2024.

In a statement, the company explains that these hirings are aimed at sustaining its expansion plan, with new projects in the national market (Porto and Lisbon) but also internationally (Madrid).

Eupago is investing in employees with higher education who can meet the needs of the company in areas such as Technical/Customer Support, Marketing, Compliance, Commercial and Development.

Telmo Santos, CEO of the national fintech, says that the goal is for Eupago to position itself in the first position as far as technology is concerned.

"We have already opened 12 of the 50 positions we are aiming for by 2024, as our goal is to remain at the forefront of technology, with personalisation of services and the search for new solutions for better efficiency of operations," he declares.

By the end of this year, the company intends to register six billion euros in digital payments in the Iberian Peninsula and, at the same time, increase the number of active accounts it has in the Portuguese market. The goal is to reach 20,000.
