Each employee receives around 350 euros for courses, events or initiatives that enable the development of useful skills for the execution of their function in the company.
Fabamaq, a software-house based in Porto that develops casino games, has made 80,500 euros available for its gamers to invest in professional training in 2023, from the "Fabamaq Graduation" programme. The amount made available gives a budget of 350 euros to each of the employees so that they can improve hard skills and soft skills relevant to their role in the company.
"This is the second year of 'Fabamaq Graduation' and we feel that this benefit is very relevant to reinforce our culture of valuing people individually. The programme complements the annual training plan outlined for the teams and brings each person the opportunity to grow together with the company," begins by explaining João Maia, chief operations officer at Fabamaq.
"The 'Fabamaq Gratuation' works as an extra motivation factor and a tool that also comes to help in the fulfilment of the career plans outlined by each of our people," he adds, quoted in a statement.
The amount - 350 euros for each employee - can be channelled to courses, events or initiatives that enable the development of useful skills for the execution of the function that the professional performs in the company.
The "Fabamaq Graduation" was created in 2022 with the aim of giving its current employees and potential new entrants a complementary benefit in the area of professional training. Activated at the same time as the company's current annual Training Plan, "Fabamaq Graduation" gives employees more freedom when it comes to selecting their training.
