fDi European Cities & Regions of the Future Awards 2018/19

Cannes welcomed, on March 13th, the award ceremony of the prestigious fDi European Cities & Regions of the Future 2018/19. The event took place during the biggest Real Estate Investment Fair in Europe – MIPIM and it was attended by the Councillor for Economy, Tourism and Commerce, Ricardo Valente.
The prestigious award granted by fDi - Intelligence Magazine, reputable publication of the Financial Times and a reference in the domain of business and FDI (Foreign Direct Investment), placed Porto in the 8th position, for the category FDI Strategy in the ranking of the Mid-Sized European Cities of the Future 2018/19.
Still during the event, there was a debate panel for "Online Trends Economic Developers Can’t Ignore in 2018”, where reputed speakers took part, such as the Commercial Director of fDi Intelligence, Chris Knight, the Chief Editor of fDi Magazine, Courtney Fingar and the Founder and Head of GIS Planning, Anatalio Ubalde.
