From 7 to 21 November, tech lovers will be able to take part in FMQ SUMMIT, a conference organised by Fabamaq and dedicated to the world of casino games. From software development and creativity to software testing, there is plenty to take in during the event.
FMQ SUMMIT: the meeting point for real gamers
November kicks off with inspiration on a high with the FMQ SUMMIT. Aimed at those who are passionate about programming, graphic design or simply the world of video games, the FMQ SUMMIT promises to share a lot of knowledge that could be very useful for the professional future of its participants.
Detailed programme of the FMQ SUMMIT
The event programme is divided into three days of sessions: DEV DAY (7 November), CREATIVE DAY (14 November) and QUALITY DAY (21 November).
The DEV DAY marks the kick-off of the event and will provide technical learning and practical approaches in the area of software development and features two Talks made by Fabamaq experts in the field of land-based and online casino games development: Marco Paiva, Head of Bingo Development, and Rui Rei, Senior Software Engineer of Web Gaming, who will address the topics "Production and Development of FMQ's games" and "Barehanded Snake Charming", respectively.
The CREATIVE DAY will offer technical and practical perspectives related to the graphic design area and will start with the speakers José Teixeira, Creative Core's Graphic Designer and Francisco Modesto, Game Art's Graphic Designer, who will explore the topics "Animating online gaming" and "Designing for Entertainment", respectively.
QUALITY DAY closes the event with a theoretical and practical discussion, through two talks with experts in the field, of issues related to quality control and software testing, used in the casino games produced by Fabamaq: Gabriel Moço, Software Test Engineer of Game Testing and Juliana Costa, Software Test Analyst of Web Gaming, where they will scrutinize issues related to "Functional Tests Automation" and "Quality Control at FMQ Digital".
FMQ SUMMIT: entrance is free and places are limited
Anyone interested in learning more about the field of casino game development need only show up at the FMQ SUMMIT, which features free and open admission. However, registration for the event is limited to 60 participants, so booking a place on the Evenbrite platform is recommended.
In order to ensure maximum benefit for those who wish to attend the talks, the FMQ SUMMIT takes place in a face-to-face format, at the premises of the software house based in Porto, from 3pm to 7pm on each scheduled day.
