Fujifilm Portugal reports growth and expands operations in Porto's Metropolitan Area
Company records €60 million in revenue and reinforces investment in retail and healthcare services
Fujifilm Portugal recorded revenue of €60 million in the 2025 fiscal year, representing an 8% increase compared to the previous year, according to Managing Director Pedro Mesquita.
One of the company’s key milestones during the year was the opening of a flagship store in downtown Porto, marking Fujifilm’s return to retail in Portugal. The project represented an investment of approximately €500,000 and follows similar initiatives in cities such as London and Barcelona. According to Pedro Mesquita, Porto was chosen due to its growing international profile and tourism appeal, helping to strengthen brand visibility and customer engagement.
Healthcare remains the company’s largest business area, accounting for around 52% of total revenue. Fujifilm Portugal operates in medical imaging and diagnostic technologies, supporting the introduction of advanced healthcare solutions to the Portuguese market.
The company is also expanding its repair centre in Vila Nova de Gaia, which specialises in endoscope and digital camera repairs. The expansion will create between 15 and 20 new jobs this year and increase the facility’s capacity, with plans to double the volume of endoscope repairs over the next two to three years.
The investment reinforces Fujifilm’s long-term commitment to the Porto metropolitan area, where the company continues to grow its operations, create skilled employment and support innovation in both healthcare and technology services.
