The event that brings together speakers from some of the most relevant companies in the information technology (IT) sector is back. Porto Tech Hub Conference will take place for the first time in an online format, on November 18th and 19th. It will count with the presence of representatives of technological giants such as Google, Facebook, Microsoft and Netflix.

The participation in the sixth edition of the event is free and will focus on talks with experts. The guest panel includes names such as Minko Gechev, software engineer at Google, Josh Long and Adam Bien, Java experts, Graeme Rocher, architect at Oracle, and the artificial intelligence researcher Neda Navidi.

Among this years’ novelties are the workshops of about three hours that will allow interested parties to "explore some of the presented topics ".

In the words of the vice president of Porto Tech Hub, "the main objective for this edition is to focus at 100% on the most relevant themes for IT professionals linked to software development." "After a year of intermission, we bring talks and workshops with prominent professionals in the area, with a strong focus on quality and on the most relevant topics for the sector”, says Samuel Santos.

This conference has been held since 2015 and received around a thousand participants in the last edition. Always focused on IT, the event has been integrating panels of speakers composed of representatives of the most relevant companies in the sector.
