Held 3rd meeting of the Local Action Group of the Project In Focus

On March 20th, 2017, the 3rd meeting of the Local Action Group of the Project In Focus, under the URBACT III Program, was held at BLIP’s new facilities.
The City Council, through InvestPorto, is one of the partners of the Project In Focus - Smart Specialization at City Level, which aims to improve the competitiveness of cities and their capacity to create jobs, through a new positioning in the economic scenario according to the smart specialization strategies created at the regional level.
On 20th March 2017, the 3rd meeting of the Local Action Group of the In Focus Project, under the URBACT III Program, was held at the new BLIP facilities. The Municipality of Porto, through InvestPorto, is one of the partners of the In Focus Project - Smart Specialization at City Level, which aims to improve the competitiveness of cities and their capacity to create jobs, through a new positioning in the economic scenario in accordance with the strategies of intelligent specialization created at the regional level. The meeting, which was attended by 22 representatives from 13 entities, focused on Talent Management in the city, and in this context, Pedro Guedes de Oliveira, Coordinator of the Working Group of the National Program for Training Support in Digital Skills in Higher Education, and Paula Gomes da Costa, President of the Porto Tech Hub Association.
