Held 4th meeting of the Local Action Group of the Project InFocus

On 4th May 2017, the fourth meeting of the Local Action Group of the In Focus Project, under the URBACT III Program, was held at UPTEC's facilities.
The Municipality of Porto, through InvestPorto, is one of the partners of the In Focus Project - Smart Specialization at City Level, which aims to improve the competitiveness of cities and their capacity to create jobs, through a new positioning in the economic scenario in accordance with the strategies of intelligent specialization created at the regional level.
The meeting, which was attended by 18 representatives from 9 entities, focused on the new work spaces and, in this context, Carlos Brito, Director of UPTEC, and José Sequeira, Consultant of InvestPorto, were invited as speakers.
