Infraspeak expands international presence as Porto hub supports global growth
Porto Leading Investor Infraspeak is expanding its international presence while continuing to develop its Porto operation as an important centre for technology, talent and global operations.
Founded in 2015, Infraspeak has grown from a Portuguese start-up into an international company specialising in Facility Management technology. According to figures highlighted by Portugalglobal, the AICEP magazine, the company's platform now supports organisations across different sectors in 47 countries, with more than 70,000 professionals using the platform across more than 1,200 organisations. It supports the management of approximately six million assets.
Porto remains an important part of that international operation. The company has teams working across technology and product development in the city, alongside its offices in Barcelona, London, Manchester and Florianópolis. Infraspeak currently employs more than 220 people worldwide.
The company was founded to address fragmented processes and manual workflows in Facility Management, with the aim of giving organisations greater visibility over their assets and technical operations. Its platform has since evolved to combine operational data, automation and artificial intelligence.
International expansion has included markets such as Spain, the United Kingdom and Brazil, as Infraspeak has developed its presence beyond Portugal.
A central part of that development has been the shift from simply digitising operational information to using data to support decision-making. The company's platform is designed to connect people, processes, assets and information, helping organisations identify patterns, anticipate maintenance needs and improve the allocation of resources.
Artificial intelligence is now playing an increasingly important role in the company's product development. Infraspeak is working towards systems and AI agents that can identify potential problems, anticipate events and support operational decisions, while retaining human oversight and validation.
The move towards more data-driven and proactive maintenance reflects a broader transformation in Facility Management, as organisations seek to improve efficiency, reduce downtime and make better use of increasingly complex operational data.
