Intellias, a global technology partner to Fortune 500 enterprises and top-tier organizations, has launched an engineering center in Porto, Portugal. Having begun operations in Portugal in 2022, Intellias now held the inauguration ceremony of its first office in Porto, which will also become the Intellias headquarters in the country. Intellias plans to expand the company’s global team of 3200 professionals and to have around 100 engineers in Portugal by the end of 2023.

During the ceremony, Intellias CEO and co-founder, Vitaly Sedler, stated that the company's decision to enter the Portuguese market is a key component of its global business strategy. He emphasized that Porto has a wide pool of talented engineers and is a perfect location for attracting other professionals from across the globe.

Honorable guests who attended the event, included members of Porto City Hall, Invest Porto, AICEP, Porto Tech Hub, and other organizations. They had a chance to appreciate the Intellias’ work on various innovative projects, especially those in the mobility sphere where Intellias has profound expertise. The Intellias Portugal team already partners with major automotive leaders, developing software applications for vehicles, navigation, ADAS and connectivity solutions, ecomobility and EV infrastructure projects, and infotainment platforms that turn average cars into highly functioning devices. During the ceremony, guests had an opportunity to test a live demo of the Intellias Automotive Portable Kit. This innovative kit, which can easily fit in a briefcase, features a fully functional digital cockpit powered by industry-grade UI design and cloud integration. The Intellias Portable Automotive Kit is currently in development, but other Intellias solutions are already installed and running in more than 170 million cars all over the world.

The opening ceremony took place in the Intellias Porto office, an airy open space with modern meeting rooms and a comfortable fun area with a PlayStation and snacks. Intellias believes that the best technological solutions can be developed only in a comfortable environment, which is why Intellias employees are offered a flexible work style, with the ability to choose whether to work remotely or from the office. Specialists have the autonomy to manage their time, pursue professional growth at their own pace, and shape their career trajectories. Intellias announced its entrance into the Portuguese market in 2022. Currently, the Portugal team consists of 50 professionals, and it is expected to reach 100+ professionals by the end of 2023. Several vacancies in Portugal are already open and listed on the Intellias website.
