InterContinental Porto with triple nomination at the World Luxury Hotel Awards

After being nominated the Best City Hotel in the World Travel Awards, the InterContinental Porto Palácio das Cardosas is once again highlighted in an international award. This time the IHG group hotel is in the race for the World Luxury Hotel Awards in three categories: Luxury City Hotel, Luxury Honeymoon Hotel, and Luxury Heritage Hotel.

Vincent Poulingue, Chief Executive of InterContinental Porto, says that these appointments are a "distinction of teamwork”. "We are always very happy when we receive these nominations, as they reveal not only the quality of our service but also the characteristics that our hotel offers to those who visit it”, underlines the representative.

The privileged location of the InterContinental Porto allows to be close to several monuments in the city and guarantees to show that Porto is a very versatile destination: ideal to rest for several days on vacation or even for a city break. On the other hand, the fact that it is located in an 18th-century palace, while preserving part of the History of the City also transmits an atmosphere of romanticism for those who choose the hotel for their honeymoon.

Voting runs until October 2nd. The winners will be announced at a ceremony that will take place on December 4th to 5th, in Mauritius. It should be noted that the objective of the World Luxury Hotel Awards is to recognize luxury accommodation projects at a global, continental, regional and national level.
