ISS Tech Portugal celebrates the first-year anniversary of 'The Place'

Over the past year, ISS's technology team has been developing various innovative digital solutions to enhance the workplace experience, from launching applications, such as Convenie, to installing new sensors, making "The Place” a space to showcase their various technological products developed for both clients and placemakers. Additionally, this year was crucial for increasing brand recognition, in which the company's partners played a fundamental role.

"This milestone is a result of the hard work and passion of our tech team. We are one step closer to achieving our goal of becoming the tech leader in the facility management industry by building solutions that solve the problems and meet the needs of our customers and employees. I look forward to witnessing even more successes from our Future of Work Innovation Lab,” says Markus Sontheimer, Group Chief Information & Digital Officer.

As a form of celebration, ISS Tech Portugal decided to hold a more intimate event for its employees, a teambuilding event at The Place, to strengthen team spirit and foster connections. "People make places", as the ISS strapline indicates.
