The new local facility, located in Lionesa - already home to leading companies such as FedEx, Vestas and Oracle - has been designed to meet the demands of the future of work, integrating cutting-edge technology, collaborative environments, and data-driven solutions. The facility is now in full operation, positioning itself as a key infrastructure in support of the group's digital and financial transformation.
"I am delighted that we have taken the next step in our journey to building a best-in-class global finance function with the opening of our new shared service location in Porto," says Jack McGinnis, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of ManpowerGroup.
According to the head of ManpowerGroup, the centralisation of several European financial operations on the new campus will free up local teams for higher value-added activities, as well as ensuring greater agility, real-time insights, and data-driven decisions across the organisation.

The choice of Portugal to host this investment is directly linked to its strategic advantages, including access to highly qualified and multilingual talent, trained in excellent educational institutions. David Herranz, ManpowerGroup's Regional President for Southern Europe, emphasises: "The country boasts a highly educated, multilingual workforce trained in top-tier universities and is equipped to deliver data-driven intelligence that complements our global market expertise. We envision this location as a true cradle of talent for the years to come, playing a central role in our development at the European level."
Developed with a focus on sustainability, inclusion, and work-life balance, the new centre also responds to the growing demand from European companies for more agile and intelligent talent solutions.
Recruitment is currently underway for roles in the areas of Finance, Accounting, Data Analysis, and Process Control.
