Neya Porto Hotel is on the run for the Best Urban Rehabilitation Award

Neya Porto Hotel is on the run for the Best Urban Rehabilitation Award
Vida Imobiliária · 05 Feb 2021
This is a promotion by Neya Empreendimentos Turísticos that expands its portfolio with this new 4-star hotel, with 124 rooms, including 12 suites, a restaurant, a rooftop bar, SPA, meeting rooms of various sizes and areas of events in coexistence with the historical heritage, namely, the cloister and the church.

Sustainability and innovation were some of the premises of this project, requiring the development of the project to always take into account the parameters of sustainable architecture. The Neya Porto Hotel is, in effect, the first hotel in the city of Porto to obtain international Leed (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification.

With the work of CARI Construtores, the contract was completed in August 2020.

Applications for the National Urban Rehabilitation Award 2021 run until next March 8th. In the 2021 edition, urban rehabilitation interventions concluded between January 1st, 2019 and December 31st, 2020 can compete, as long as they have not been candidates in previous editions of the Prize.

The best interventions in ten categories will be distinguished, namely: City of Lisbon, City of Porto, Social Impact, Residential, Tourism, Trade & Services, Energy Efficiency, Structural Rehabilitation, Restoration and Intervention of less than 1,000 sq. mt.
