Porto receives an investment of six million euros in the automotive sector

Caetano Baviera, BMW's concessionaire of the Salvador Caetano group, invested six million euros in Porto in the opening of the largest showroom of the German brand in Portugal and in the set-up of the state-of-the-art repair shop.

The new showroom of the German brand is located in the Zona Industrial do Porto and results from the expansion and modernization of the space that Caetano Baviera already owned in Engenheiro Ferreira Dias street. The investment enabled the duplication of the existing area, now totalling 10 thousand square meters. Part of the space aims to the commercialization of used vehicles. To keep up with this growth, the group will strengthen the current team by around 30 percent, hiring around 40 more employees.

The opening of the new space was last Friday in a ceremony attended by, among others, the Mayor of Porto and the representatives of the Iberian BMW and BMW Portugal.
