I-charging is a Portuguese startup created in 2019. It was now launched in an international online event, the first fast charger to reach the market with a power between 50 kW and 600 kW (from 100 to 1000 V).

Values ​​that surpass the current fast charging systems in Portugal that reach 50kW and can reach 250kW per car with Tesla's Superchargers.
 
The range presented by i-charging is the blueberry and it has three possible configurations: blueberry, blueberry PLUS, and blueberry CLUSTER.
 
"This solution allows to charge all vehicles currently in circulation, as well as those that will be launched in the future with batteries up to 1000 V", states the company, which is already thinking about heavy electric vehicles such as buses and trucks, which will be available in the future.
 
"This new range of fast chargers is disruptive in relation to the current market offer and covers all vehicle segments, light and heavy. It is, for us, a source of great pride, as Portuguese manufacturers, and with only one year of existence, to be able to present this differentiating solution in a constantly evolving market", stated Pedro Moreira da Silva, CEO of i-charging.
 
The blueberry range is based on the dynamic blue technology, owned by the Portuguese company, which is patented and responds to existing needs in the market, "allowing sequential and simultaneous loading, as well as an unlimited number of outputs through the dynamic allocation of energy to each output", states the company that has a factory in Porto with 30 employees.
 
The innovative product also includes a new cable management system, also patented, which easily expands and retracts to a 4.7-meter long cable.
 
Blueberry chargers also come with a 32-inch, tactile screen that allows you to view charging information, but also have promotional videos or any other multimedia content (supported by an app called blueberry).
 
The company wants to start in 2020 with the first models of the new i-charging range as they will have certification for the European market, in order to, attain certification for the American market, next year.
