The Global Talent Competitiveness Index released the report on the most competitive countries in the world in talent management in 2020. In the general ranking, which includes 132 countries, Portugal takes 28th place with an evaluation of 57.8 points, and belongs to the group of countries with the highest results.

Within the six competencies that are analyzed in the Index, our country performs well in terms of new opportunities, occupying the 29th place. With regard to market attractiveness and global growth skills, it is in the 26th and 32nd position, respectively. In terms of professional and technical competence, it ranks 43rd and in terms of global knowledge, 35th. Finally, as for the retention rate, it occupies a good position, standing out in the 25th place.

Adecco launched the Global Talent Competitiveness Index 2020 at the World Economic Forum in Davos, thus measuring the competitiveness of talent from 132 countries and 155 cities, in partnership with the INSEAD business school and Google.
