Registration is now open for the municipal program “Confiança Porto” aimed at tourist accommodation

Enrollment is now open for the Municipal Recognition Program "Confiança Porto”, which will allow tourist accommodation establishments in the city to obtain the respective "seal” of trust.

The Municipality of Porto provides a verification form (checklist) that contains the requirements that will be evaluated in each accommodation, in order for them to prepare in the best possible way for the respective technical visit necessary to obtain municipal recognition.

In addition, to facilitate the process, a guide to support enrollment in the program is provided. All this information can be consulted through the Municipality Portal of Porto City Council.

The Municipal Recognition Program "Confiança Porto" aims to distinguish the local accommodation (AL) and tourist developments that best represent the characteristics that, every year, attract thousands of people to the city. excellence in tourist accommodation, through the recognition of establishments that present the best results in terms of requirements such as safety, cleanliness, hygiene, accessibility, and hospitality.

More than 600 people have already participated in the "Confiança Porto" training sessions

Since the beginning of April, within the scope of the Municipal Recognition Program "Confiança Porto", 9 training sessions have already taken place, with the participation of more than 600 people.

The objective of these courses, which are completely free, is to help the city's tourist accommodation managers to offer an excellent service and to act as the main agents in promoting Porto as a world reference destination.
