Seminar ”Investir dans L’Immobilier au Portugal”

Seminar ”Investir dans L’Immobilier au Portugal”
17 Oct 2017
On October 17th, Porto welcomed the Seminar "Investir dans L’Immobilier au Portugal” organised by the Portuguese-French Chamber of Industry and Commerce (CCILF).

At the opening session, in addition to the CEO of CCILF, Laurent Marionnet, the Councillor for Economy, Tourism and Commerce, Ricardo Valente, intervened mentioning that Porto is ever more a destination "attractive for investments”, finding itself "Currently full of opportunities”. The works proceeded with several sessions dedicated to the theme and the participation of players from varied areas.

Among other goals, the meeting intended to characterise the real estate market in Portugal, especially on Porto, and to clarify potential French investors as far as the stages of the process of investment and implementation in the city are concerned.

Currently, the French are the foreigners who invest the most in the real estate sector in Portugal, with a market share of 26%. French companies, such as Natixis and Webhelp, as well as other international groups which also have operations in Porto, which is the case of Euronext, Blip, Critical Software or Vestas, were some other examples cited in the Seminar.
