The startup Rows, previously known as Dashdash, raised $ 16 million in a series B investment round (€ 13.17 million).

Founded by Portuguese Humberto Ayres Pereira and Torben Schulz, the company is headquartered in Berlin, Germany, but also has an office and team in Porto. Rows has developed a platform that allows you to fill and analyze web applications using only spreadsheets.

According to the TechCrunch website, the startup details that this investment will be used to continue investing in the platform developed by the company, in sales and in marketing. This investment round was led by Lakestar, with the participation of investors such as Accel or Cherry Ventures.

To TechCrunch, Humberto Ayres Pereira indicated that, in fact, this investment round was already closed more than a year ago, in January 2020. However, only now has the announcement been made to coincide with the launch of new features for the platform , which is now available in beta, accessible to anyone. In the free version, the platform can be used by up to ten users. The paid version, which allows more users of a team to use and access more tools, has monthly fees starting at $ 59.

The startup has already set goals for paid customers. Ayres Pereira explained to TechCrunch that the company intends to reach "a thousand companies with subscription as customers in the next 12 months".
