The Municipality wants to attract more investment to the city with the creation of InvestPorto

Established at the end of 2014, InvestPorto was today officially presented, an entity that is directly dependent of the Mayor and aims the attraction of investment. Today, 22 organizations have signed cooperation agreements with the Municipality.

Led by Ana Teresa Lehmann, InvestPorto benefits from an important partnership with the Agency for Porto’s Modernization (APOR - Agência para a Modernização do Porto), which is supported by the Municipality and by a set of companies. According to her, that entity has already received many contacts from investors in the areas of real estate, tourism and information technology, adding that they are already working "with needs for two years from now."
