There are 16 national tech companies among the fastest growing in Europe

The United Kingdom (81), Sweden (50) and Finland (50) are the countries with the most companies listed in the Deloitte ranking. Portugal is in 10th position, with 16 technology companies listed.

"It's a clear sign that Portugal has the talent to house internationally relevant technology companies,” he added.

More than a third of the national companies that were part of the first national edition of the "Technology Fast 50 2023” ranking are included in this new Deloitte ranking, which lists the top 500 fastest-growing technology companies in the EMEA region. Finland's Metacore Games (Media & Entertainment category) tops the ranking with an average growth rate of 89.319%. One of the 50 Finnish companies that appear in this evaluation.

The highest ranked Portuguese company in the ranking is Sword Health, in 34th place. The unicorn - which has just announced a new round of 30 million dollars, bringing its valuation to three billion dollars - was ranked 322nd in 2019.

Addvolt, which is developing a solution to recover, produce and store electrical energy on board temperature-controlled transport trucks, is the second best-placed Portuguese company, in 97th place in the global ranking. In 146th place is knok, a technology company that combines artificial intelligence with telemedicine, securing third place among national technology companies.

Magic Beans (268th), Twistag (334th), Replai (382nd), Hijiffy (413th), The Loop Co. (417th), Code for All (436th), Mediaprobe (439th), StoneShield (442nd), Agix (460th), Casafari (465th), Boost:IT (465th), Valuedate.io (485th), SweetCare (488th). º), Casafari (465 º), Boost:IT (466 º), Valuedate.io (485 º) and SweetCare (488 º) are the other national technologies among the 500 fastest growing in the EMEA region.
