UPTEC launches free programme to support startups in attracting investment
"School of Startups: Get Funded" will provide access to workshops, roundtables, talks, and much more
UPTEC recently announced a free initiative aimed at supporting startups at all stages of the investment cycle, featuring six structured sessions scheduled between June and September 2025 to guide them through the fundraising process.
Targeted at founders and teams of startups with the potential to raise investment, ‘School of Startups: Get Funded’ will include workshops led by experts in key areas such as preparing financial documentation, negotiating term sheets, and strategies for pre-seed, seed, and series A investment rounds. This practical approach will also extend to a successful exit preparation.
In addition to the training sessions, participants will have access to roundtables with investors, founders, and business developers with direct experience in raising capital.
The programme will feature leading speakers such as Ricardo Luz (Invicta Angels), Hugo Ramos (Beta Capital) and Maria Morais (Circklo), and will close in September with a workshop dedicated to the mentality and strategy of long-term fundraising.
Participation is free and registration is required via the following link, where more information about the programme and each of the sessions is also available.
Participants who complete the full cycle will receive a certificate of participation.
