Voltalia will hire 40 new employees mainly in Porto

The French multinational is hiring 40 employees for engineering, renewable energy, marketing, communication, and financial services by the end of the year, mostly for the technology center in Porto. Applications are already open and those interested can apply through the company's website.

Voltalia has been in Portugal since 2016, at an early stage it has settled in Oliveira de Frades and since May this year it has expanded to the city of Porto for strategic positioning.

"For the Voltalia Group, Portugal represents the support base of all the group's activity in the solar area. The company decided to install the solar competence center in Portugal - Solar Hub, giving full support to engineering, project management, monitoring, supervision and control of solar assets spread across four continents and over 20 countries”, says the Voltalia Group Marketing and Communication Officer, José Carlos Amador.

The Voltalia group has about 700 employees and is present in over 20 countries. The company produces and sells electricity generated from wind, solar, hydroelectric and biomass energy, having a total of one GW solar capacity installed or under construction.
