Portuguese engineering company strengthens global growth strategy through strategic U.S. acquisition.
Critical Software has expanded in the United States through the acquisition of IQ Inc., reinforcing its long-term growth strategy in the North American market.
IQ Inc. specialises in engineering services for mission-critical systems and employs a team of more than 40 engineers. The company develops solutions across a range of sectors, including aerospace, defence, energy, healthcare, medical devices, mobility and robotics.
Critical Software has been active in the American market for more than two decades and maintains international operations across several countries, including the UK and Germany.
The Portuguese technology company stated that the acquisition will enhance its engineering capabilities and delivery capacity in the U.S., while strengthening its strategic presence in the region.
João Carreira, CEO of Critical Software, believes the acquisition will accelerate the company’s expansion and strengthen its engineering expertise in the United States. The integration also enables both organisations to combine technical capabilities and deepen collaboration across projects.
