Porto. Leading Investors presented to the QSP Summit 2022 audience
At the 15th edition of the management and marketing conference, which took place between 28 and 30 June, InvestPorto presented 19 Porto. Leading Investors - companies that represent the talent, competitiveness and innovation of the city of Porto.
Continuing the strategy of activation and promotion of the Porto. Leading Investors, which began at NOS Primavera Sound 2022, the QSP Summit was a new stage to present some of the companies that have most contributed to the consolidation of Porto as an international technology hub.
In the last 5 years, A.P. Moller-Maersk, Bee Engineering Critical TechWorks, FairJourney Biologics, Farfetch, Infraspeak, Intellias, ITSector, Kantar, Körber Digital, Kuehne+Nagel, Natixis, NTT Data, Readiness IT, Sitel Group, TeamViewer, Uphold, Wunderman Thompson Commerce and Zühlke Engineering have experienced rapid growth, materialized in the creation of more than 6200 jobs and in the generation of gross value added (GVA) in excess of 385 million euros. In addition, these companies have a strong export activity, since they export around 79% of their production.
Through the presentation of programmes and recruitment opportunities on an interactive screen of the city, these companies received about 500 expressions of interest from QSP Summit visitors, promoting their visibility among the talent pool of Porto.
Porto. Leading Investors also had the opportunity to distribute merchandising in the gift bags designed for this initiative, as well as to celebrate a cocktail with the QSP Summit participants, under the slogan "Porto. Leading Investors Taste n' Toast".
