Technology Quistor enters Portugal with Oracle and installs office in Porto
Jornal de Negócios · 27 Jan 2022
Quistor, a multinational managed services provider and Oracle's partner, entered the Portuguese market by opening an office in Porto.

The company has a strong presence in the European market, providing business customers with technology consulting solutions, as well as software and managed services, "in order to help and accompany the journey of digital transformation of companies", details the company's statement.

The company was founded in the Netherlands in 2005, and today has more than 250 international clients in 12 countries around the world, namely in the Netherlands, Spain, United Kingdom, France, Czech Republic, and Italy. Portugal now joins this list, which are considered as "strategic markets" for the company.

Javier Prego, Quistor's COO, states that "the opening of this office is part of our growth and expansion strategy", quoted in a press release. The manager also indicates that "this will not be the last announcement we make this year in this regard, as we are exploring other markets to continue developing our business capabilities, always hand in hand with Oracle".

Iñaki Aguirregaviria, meanwhile, who will be responsible for the Portuguese market, indicates that the company is "excited about arriving in the Portuguese market". "Portugal is currently one of the fastest-growing IT markets and, with our experience in the European market and in partnership with Oracle, we are confident that we can play an important role in the digital transformation of the country's business community".
