TERA and Porto Leading Investors, two projects promoted by Porto City Hall's Economics Department, present themselves together for the first time in a new form of participation in job fairs, to be replicated in future events.

In the scope of the FJC Porto de Emprego, the same portfolio promotes on 8 March, at 15h20, a round table with the theme "Collaborative Cities - the role in attracting, retaining and developing talent", which has in the panel the participation of Ricardo Valente, Councillor for Economy, Employment and Entrepreneurship of Porto City Hall, Telmo Fernandes, Site Lead & Executive Director of Fin Tru in Portugal, Gonçalo Sá, Head of Kuehne + Nagel it Hub in Porto, and with the moderation of Carolina Ferreira, head of the Municipal Division of Talent and Employability Promotion.

A reflection on the ability to retain talent in cities and the consequent impact on investment decisions, open to the general public, with prior registration at this link.
TERA and the Porto Leading Investors project are interconnected in different dimensions. On the one hand, TERA is the identity that brings together the municipal strategy for attracting, retaining and developing talent, while Porto Leading Investors are companies with a high level of competitiveness that have contributed to the consolidation of Porto as an international hub, where the meeting of cultures and the entrepreneurial ecosystem boost investment, talent, competitiveness and innovation.

The partnership between PLI and TERA intends to act as a bridge between the actors of the business fabric and the talent, both the trained and the future, involving talent in decision making, from education to corporate opportunities, affirming Porto as a technological hub and positioning the TERA brand as an inspiring solution of creativity and innovation. Making a match between talent and Leading Investors companies, transmitting the values and spirit of each company, finding mentors and communities that add value to the whole talent chain, is what this joint presence aims to promote.

Within the scope of Invest Porto's activity, the city of Porto received last month the "fDI strategy - large cities" award, for its capacity to attract, retain and develop talent, which has been a core element in the city's expansion and in attracting and retaining national and international investment.
