It entered the Spanish market in 2019 and now arrives in Portugal. The French company Hubside, created in 2018, promises to create, by the end of the year, 200 jobs in the country.

The company, in a statement, says that "it is the first web services platform in Portugal that is sold at points of sale, among which Fnac stores stand out. Hubside offers free, personalized, and professional technical assistance, both in person, as online and over the phone, with the support of local experts".

"Hubside arrives in Portugal to become the platform of our users' passions, just as we did in France. We want to create a community and connect people so that they can share their ideas, interests and hobbies", explains Álex Hampe, CEO of Hubside, quoted in the press release.

"The tool we propose is easy, intuitive and convenient, for anyone who wants to create and design their own website, without the need for IT skills. With Hubside, users can meet to connect with their community and show their passions in a personalized way", adds the CEO.

The Spanish market, which the company entered in 2019, already represents 50% of the group's sales, which is also present in the Belgian, Swiss and Italian markets. The company currently has 1.13 million subscribers and expects to reach a turnover in Europe of 1.1 billion euros in 2021. Subscriptions increased 75% last year and the number of websites created by the platform grew 95%. Of the websites created, 70% belong to individuals and 30% to professionals.

The German, UAE, and Eastern European countries are also on Hubside's horizon.
