Católica Porto Business School master's degrees among the best in the world according to international ranking
Management, Finance, and Marketing are the three master's degrees at Católica Porto Business School (CPBS) that are now among the best in the world, according to the QS Business Master's Rankings. Diversity of students and teaching staff, the impact of the research carried out and the salary level achieved by early career graduates were the three indicators highlighted.
The Dean of CPBS, Rui Soucasaux Sousa, explains the importance of the distinction, "in these rankings, only schools with EQUIS (EFMD Quality Improvement System, of the European Foundation for Management Development), AMBA (Association of MBAs) or AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accreditation can be evaluated, as is the case with CPBS."
In this sense, the Dean adds, "We are very proud of this recognition since only a limited number of excellent business schools around the world can include their master's degrees in these rankings."
"Entering the QS rankings is a validation of the investment we have made in strengthening the School's teaching staff and also demonstrates the quality of the students who complete their master's degrees here," says Gonçalo Faria, Associate Dean for Graduate & Executive Education and Engagement. Gonçalo Faria adds, "it will make our programs even more attractive to our future students".
This is the first time that Católica Porto Business School's Masters in Management, Finance, and Marketing have been distinguished by the QS Business Master's Rankings, an achievement that Rui Soucasaux Sousa assumes "is the School's ambition to continue consolidating the international reputation of its programs."
