The business school of the University of Porto is now side by side with other institutions, such as the North American MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and Yale University.

Porto Business School is the only Portuguese educational institution present in the Executive MBA Council. The institution is now side by side with Columbia Business School, Cornell University, Duke University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Yale University in the United States, among others.

The dean of Porto Business School, Ramon O'Callaghan, stresses that "being the first Portuguese business school to join the Executive MBA Council is a source of pride. The purpose is to empower the programmes' participants with holistic knowledge, expanding their horizons for a sustained impact not only on their careers, but also on their organisations and, consequently, on society".

By belonging to the Executive MBA Council, according to the same note, it is possible to access a networking network of directors and staff from 200 business schools and almost 300 executive MBA programmes. The educational institution will have access to webinars, virtual discussion forums and marketing initiatives, concludes the note.
