Porto Economy Award seeks new angles in its 3rd Edition
Porto Economy Award recognises yearly three academic dissertations or other originals works that focus on a topic of relevance and interest to the economy of Porto.

Strategies for economic development, attracting investment, attracting, and retaining talent, competitiveness, knowledge and innovation networks, entrepreneurship, and economic diplomacy are examples of areas that contribute to and impact daily activities of the city and those who live, study, work and invest here.
The goal of the Porto Economic
Award is to promote research on the local and regional economy, fostering fresh
perspectives. Through this initiative, students and researchers can present
their insights into Porto's economy, providing the community and local
authorities from a new perspective.
In the 2023 edition, the first prize
will have a value of €3,000.00 (three thousand euros), the second prize will be
€1,500.00 (one thousand five hundred euros), and the third prize will be
€1,000.00 (one thousand euros). In this edition, eligible application can be
submitted in Portuguese or English, published within the last three years, from
November 30th 2020 to November 30th 2023.
