Portugal joins the list of UK air corridors
Dinheiro Vivo · 20 Aug 2020
Portugal will be included in the list of air corridors in the United Kingdom, that is, the quarantine will no longer be required for those arriving from Portugal. British Transport Secretary Grant Shapps has already confirmed the good news for Portuguese tourism.

Since the 22nd, Portugal, including Madeira, Porto Santo, and the Azores, officially entered the list of air corridors, as stated on the British government website. However, this can be changed, depending on the evolution of the pandemic.

It is recalled that the United Kingdom is one of the biggest emitters of tourists in the country. The British market, in 2019, was responsible for 2.1 million guests, 9.4 million overnight stays, and almost 3.3 billion euros in tourist revenues, according to data from Turismo de Portugal.
